Returns

You can return any piece within 7 days of delivery, as long as it is:

• unworn, unwashed and unaltered,
• with its tags still attached, and
• in its original packaging.

We check every return when it reaches us. A piece that has been worn, washed, altered, or that smells of perfume or smoke, can't be accepted and will be sent back to you.

How to return

• Write to us by email or WhatsApp with your order number and the piece you're returning.
• We'll reply with the return address and how to pack it.
• Send it back to us within five days of our reply. For a change of mind, return shipping is at your cost — we recommend a tracked service.

Exchanges

Prefer a different size or another piece? Ask for an exchange instead of a refund. Many of our pieces exist in small numbers, so if the one you want has gone, we'll refund you instead.

Damaged, defective or wrong pieces

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, write to us within 48 hours of deliverywith photos of the piece and the packaging. We'll replace it or refund you in full, and we cover the cost of sending it back.

One note on handwork: chikankari is embroidered by hand, so small differences in stitch, spacing or thread from the photographs are part of the piece — they're the karigar's hand, not a defect. Colours can also look slightly different on different screens.

Cancellations

You can cancel any time before your order is dispatched for a full refund — just write to us. Once it has left Lucknow, it can't be cancelled, but you can return it under the policy above.

If a piece sells out after you pay

Every piece is made by hand in small numbers. Very occasionally, the same piece sells to two people at once. If that happens to your order, we'll tell you as soon as we notice and refund the full amount.

Refunds

Refunds always go back to your original payment method — the same UPI account, card, bank or wallet you paid with. We issue them within 5–7 working days of approving a return, cancellation or sold-out order. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Shipping was free, so there is nothing to deduct: you get back exactly what you paid for the piece.
